How are you and your family? It is long time isn't it? We have been very glad to receive your letter and card and car in cutout. Thank you very much.

You sent good wishes to Sekou. We are now in cold season, it is windy. Sun rises at 15 to 7 and sets down at 10 past 6. Sekou and Fatoumata are all in good health. We have known which is London and London is a nice city.

Our village is Djidian (spelt in their language as "Jijan"), there are 6000 inhabitants in it. There is a health centre, school and other offices. Our village is between mountain and water. The name of the river is "Balahaladian" and the mountain is "Fofana-Kura".
