For the third gig I was at the front on the rail for the first half of the gig, but the crush was terrible and I only got water when the band threw it on us, or when I begged security (who were very slow and reticent to hand it out). I was hauled out half way through only to throw up prolifically all over the ladies and take a quick trip to the medical centre... oh the shame! The immense crush meant I couldn't get many shots. Then the second half of the set was spent from the right of the stage, unfortunately a little too distant for good photos.
Never mind. It was amazing, the sound was perfect, Trent was on top form, the crowd singing along for Hurt was moving yet again, and the whole thing was filmed, so hopefully some decent footage will be released in future and my photos won't be needed as a momento.

Saul Williams, the support act. I had described him to Mike (my bloke) as "like Benjamin Zephaniah, but as rap" and that's exactly how it was. He was interesting but not really my thing. |
View fullsize There was a set list stuck to the front of the stage, along with lots of equipment in the pit waiting to be supplied from the pit to Trent. |

View fullsize I love this photo, the look in Trent's eyes to his left (where I was!) adds something to the mood. |
View fullsize The crush started to get bad and it was harder to focus without being knocked and getting blurry... |
View fullsize Actually my view was more like this! |
View fullsize There were a few moments of calm to draw breath and get a photo. |
View fullsize Blurry, but I like it - this was the last photo I got before bailing out of the pit. |
View fullsize From then, this was my view. Actually I quite like this shot, it shows how big the stage is (but quite a small venue). Although I couldn't see too well, the vibe was great off to the side and it was good to draw breath and enjoy it... even if Trent did take to the pit during Piggy JUST where I'd been standing... missed him again! | |

View fullsize A final shot of Trent and Aaron before the last few chords of the gig. |
View fullsize My bloke Mike, who does a wonderful job of looking after me at gigs and who I caught singing along to Hurt and Head Like A Hole and even looking like he was enjoying it! |
