Yes ok, Al is another Alan, but I have to distinguish somehow.

This is the Alan from Plymouth (now gone back oop north), who I spent a fair bit of 1999 with, and who taught me much. Such as exactly how perverse "Happiness in Slavery" can be.. and yet how delicious.

Al inspired many of my own songs from that era.

We were out of touch for a few years but now that there is no depraved obsession thing going on, I'm finding that he is actually a damn good bloke, and hopefully, a solid friend. It's been good to catch up again.

Al also has a really cool friend, Kev, who is absolutely adorable (but would probably kill me if he heard me say so).
