Dear Miss Wilson,

Good morning!

I'm glad to give you the news of the family through this letter. There is nothing bad here and we wish the same to you. Sekou and sister were glad to be respectively in the 2nd and 3rd grade. Your friend's father went on trip. His old brother has a bad vision - that's sight problem.

Sekou's mother and grandmother cultivated peanut. Our crops are going on and the cold weather has started. We are still in the hamlet.

Our traditional feasts and ceremonies are Ramadan, Tabaski or feast of sheep, Bekila and Maribayasa which is performed by old ladies in big boubou1 2 or 3 months before the beginning of the wet season.

You have the cordial greetings of all the family.

Hoping to hear from you very soon.

Sincerely yours.

Sekou's mother.
