Engagement Ring

On Christmas Day 2003, Mike proposed to me - in a cracker! Of course the answer was yes, and we swiftly went shopping.

After a half-day's browsing(!) and trying on lots of bands I suddenly saw a solitaire I liked (and I hadn't thought I wanted a solitaire at all!) in the window at Bernstones, Hatton Garden.

Photos follow... for those interested in diamonds, it's a half carat princess cut diamond, colour G/H (white) and clarity SI (slight inclusions but none visible to the naked eye). It's set in 18 karat white gold. Lucky me!
